A new literacy project was launched between Rotary District
5000 and Hawaii Literacy on March 8, 2011.
Rotarians may go to the Hawaii Literacy
website at www.hawaiiliteracy.org
to learn more about their programs and if YOU are interested in participating
as a tutor to work with a learner on Oahu or Kauai, please contact Heidi Byrne
at 808 537 6706 or by email at
heidi.byrne@hawaiiliteracy.org and let her know if you are a Rotarian and
which Rotary club you belong to. Together as members of Rotary Clubs in
partnership with Hawaii Literacy, we CAN make a huge difference in Adult
Literacy on Oahu and on Kauai. To view a video of the meeting at Hawaii
